45 Grave - Live + interview 1980-1983

The Press Club and T-Bird shows are both soundboard recordings and the interview is a radio broadcast. All have excellent sound quality. The Yvonnes song in the Don Bolles interview is something he recorded with Rob Ritter in 1977.

  1. Dumb question, Is the 45 Grave Press Club tape from the Party Sound release? THAT release is actually directly from the soundboard master (It's what Don used for the live cd a decade ago)- I don't care at all if you put that one out there, but if whatever you are using is something else, can you please add some kind of comment such as "From Party Sound cassette Live At The Press Club" or "Not from etc..."? Especially if it is an audience recording. Thanks a lot. Mike

  2. Before you mentioned it in your comment, I'd never heard of the Live At The Press Club tape. I've found it now on discogs.com but it's not connected to the 45 Grave discography. As the blurb states at the top of this post the Press Club show is from the soundboard and I am digitizing it from the cassette which is pictured at the top of this post. Where the recording came from before it was copied onto this cassette I don't know. Seems I've already posted the Meat Puppets and Monitor recordings from this Press Club show.

  3. The master is on a TDK-SA and all copies are on TDK-D brand cassettes - I am assuming it's a copy as that is not my writing on the tape (look at Discogs for an example of what the writing would look like). In any case nice to see at least part of this turn up in the digital realm in a (presumably) more complete form than then 45 Grave live comp had it.

  4. T Bird show proves they should have hung it up in 1982. That was the paek for LA anyway.
